The Company’s directors, who together concurrently comprise the two shareholders, are an experienced and respected team of professionals with a combined management background extending over 85 years, marketing experience of over 13 years, and over 15 combined years of experience in the US cannabis industry. The shareholders of Spring Sciences Australia each have a proven track-record of creating successful business ventures, generating strong returns and building long-term value.

Dr. Steve Newbery
Chief Executive Officer
Steve has more than 25 years in business management and successful company start-ups principally related to the mining industry. Dr Newbery has been responsible for the establishment, capital raising and market listing of a number of companies and has acquired significant experience as a CEO and Chairman in volatile market environments. He received his Doctorate in Geology from James Cook University of Queensland and is an Australian citizen.
Sheldon Kirkpatrick
Chief Financial Officer
Sheldon has more than 20 years in private equity and portfolio management in diverse industries including food and beverage, mining and manufacturing. Having a multidisciplinary background in management and finance, Sheldon has led or participated in multiple transactions worth more than US$1 billion. He received his degree in Legal Studies from UC Berkeley and earned diplomas in finance and management from leading universities.
Andrew Driver Jr.
Chief Operation Officer, Production Oversight Committee
Andrew is a co-founder of the Spring Sciences Group and a pioneer of the medical cannabis industry in Michigan, USA. Drew has been operating in the state on a legal basis for almost 10 years and co-founded and serves as chairman of the Michigan Cannabis Industry Association, an industry trade association. He is known widely as Michigan’s “best grower” and is a world leader in the science of Cannabis cultivation and derivative production.
